***Learnings aus Lenzing // Nature. Future. Us.*** ***Learnings aus Lenzing // Nature. Future. Us.*** Im August hatte ich die Gelegenheit die Lenzing-Zentrale in Oberösterreich besuchen. Mehrere Stunden Deep Dive und zahlreiche Aha-Momente später kann ich sagen: Hier - in der Nähe des beschaulichen Attersee - entsteht wirklich etwas mit Potenzial, den Kreislauf zu schließen. Meine Learnings aus meinem Besuch bei Lenzing? Sehr viele. 🍃Das Holz für die kompostierbaren (vom TÜV Austria zertifiziert) TENCEL™-Fasern wird aus nachhaltig bewirtschafteten Wäldern bezogen. 🍃Produziert wird mit ressourceneffizienten Verfahren. 🍃Lyocell wird ohne chemisches Lösungsmittel hergestellt 🍃Anstelle von Chlor wird mit Sauerstoff gebleicht. 🍃Lenzing setzt auf Rückwärtsintegration, d.h., Reststoffe/Überschussproduktion werden reintegriert statt entsorgt. 🍃Die Fasern sind mit dem EU Ecolabel für herausragende Umweltleistung zertifiziert. 🍃Das Fasererkennungssystem von Lenzing macht die Rückverfolgbarkeit von TENCEL™-Fasern in allen Phasen der Textilproduktion möglich.
