Sustainable Fashion Fairs. Next edition.

After (fashion) trade fairs were declared superfluous and outdated during the pandemic ("after all, you can depict everything digitally"), the "post-pandemic" restart on the floor showed: No. It just doesn't work that well digitally. Fashion is clearly linked to haptics. With fits. With emotions. Not to mention the personal contact that many (all of us!) missed. Means: The fairs are not gone. On the contrary.

The (sustainable!) ordering season will enter the next round in July. After the innovations in January, the summer edition will also be heralded with news about sustainable fashion fairs. High time for an update.

Seek (and Premium) in Berlin

After only two seasons, the Premium incl. Seek (where the sustainable Conscious Club Area is also located) is moving from the Berlin exhibition center, where other formats have already struggled, back to the Berlin station, where the exhibition was also held before the short trip was based in Frankfurt (#frankfurtfashionweek). At the same time, the Premium Group is streamlining both formats. In other words: from July 2023, the three days of the trade fair will become two days: July 11th and 12th. A reorientation is also planned in terms of content. Original sound: “We’re putting an end to classic run-of-the-mill trade fair formats – in summer it’s all about (re)connection, real emotions and new perspectives.” In this context, a content program is planned (quick reminder of my words: (Fashion) Fair without a message no longer works). Good to know: The conference format 202030 – The Berlin Fashion Summit will also be reintegrated at the new location. More informations about Premium >>>

Innatex Exhibition Center Rhein-Main in Wallau

From July 29th to 31st, Innatex celebrates the 52nd edition of the established trade fair for sustainable textiles. In the Rhein-Main Exhibition Center in Wallau (near Frankfurt). The motto of the season? Now. Because the time – thank you, you speak my mind – is right now. Together with Innatex, we are happy about the new partnership with the Fashion Changers, who will herald the Lounge Talks format in the Community Area on Saturday with two panels and the existing partnerships with us as GREENSTYLE/PUREVIU (two panels on Sunday) and the trade association Hessen (a panel on Monday – moderated by me). The Design Discoveries will also be available to discover in the Community Area this season. Incidentally, the application deadline for participation in this funding program is June 1 (further information see below). In Wallau, as in Düsseldorf, all the signs are pointing to growth: some of the more than 220 exhibitors are enlarging or doubling their stand space. More informations about Innatex >>>

There are still a little more than two months until the start of the ordering season. We look forward to seeing as many of our brands as possible in person. And get to know new brands.
