VATTER

VATTER
The company founders Thomas Vatter and Marcus Faulwasser

When the finest organic cotton meets extraordinary design (and casual label names like Loose Larry and Classy Claus!) and every product is far too good for underneath your clothes, then we are talking about Vatter. The Munich-based eco-label (for women AND men, babies and toddlers) has made it its mission to free eco-underwear from its “love killer” stereotype. Mission accomplished! Thomas Vatter, who after his business studies had a Music-Flirt-Platform in Switzerland, and Marcus Faulwasser, an advertiser with his own agency, have been making bio and sexy underwear since 2015.

The bras and bustiers with their cool prints are almost too good to hide underneath your clothes. The undergarments are made of GOTS-certified cotton and when worn correctly, they are eye-catchers.

Cotton with attitude, because organic can also be sexy!

For women, VATTER offers three panty and two bra styles anywhere from classic to fancy. Men can choose between airy boxer shorts, classic boxer briefs or modern trunk shorts. And for those who don’t know what’s behind these names – the two VATTER founders, who by the way already went to school together in Schongau – can give you advice and support when it comes to choosing the perfect underwear.

Gut zu wissen:  The boxer shorts are made from 100% organic cotton, which is normally used to make high-quality shirts. You will love it!

Pleases the skin and rejoices the conscience

By the way, the sexy organic boxers and briefs are packed in cardboard boxes made of 100% recycled material, which of course are printed with vegetable-based colors. With a part of their proceeds, the Munich-based label supports environmental or social projects. You can find the latest information on their website.

Goodsociety

Fashion has somehow always interested Dietrich Weigel. That’s why he did an apprenticeship as a tailor in haute couture and has worked his way through various stations in the fashion business. Today, he produces eco-fair denim styles from slim to flared and cropped to high waist for his label Goodsociety. Originally founded in the USA in 2007, Dietrich Weigel took over the label five years later and expanded it according to his own ideas. For Dietrich Weigl, sustainability does not stop at organic; it only begins there. Fair working conditions, no use of harmful chemicals and CO2-neutral work are self-evident with his eco-brand.Goodsociety

Spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing yarns – Goodsociety has its production in Italy. Of course Dietrich Weigel knows all his suppliers personally. After all, this is all about transparency. This is why his cotton-growing partner farms in India, Pakistan and Turkey are inspected by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). His trousers are Peta Approved Vegan, the typical trouser back patch is not made of leather but of Alcantara. Buttons and rivets are 100 percent, the copper parts are 85 percent recycled metal.

Good news: Our favorite piece of clothing is also available in good!

Goodsociety

That sustainable lifestyle and social responsibility in connection with fashion work well was recognized early on at Goodsociety. This is why the eco-denim label donates around 25 percent of its profits to selected projects worldwide that protect nature and promote social development and individual freedom.
