Behind the poetic-sounding name Me & May is the design duo Melissa Knorr and Mathilde Feuillet. Mathilde, who studied at Esmod in Munich, and Melissa, who graduated from the master class for fashion, met during their studies while working in a boutique. The two business partners have been expressing their vision of feminine fashion in their own label since 2011. In the meantime, the two Munich-based women have completed a really successful pop-up store in a prime downtown location with their label Me & May and, in the next step, opened a store in Munich’s Maxvorstadt. In addition to the wonderfully feminine, French-inspired fashion by Me & May, you will also find denim darlings by Mud, jewelry by Gisele B and the beautiful cushions by SOSTÈHNE.

And here the two designers prove, with their good mood prints, that eco collections don’t have to be boring – melon pieces, XS lipsticks or wild jungle animals cavort non-chalantly on the delicate tops and soft flowing jumpsuits that look like this can be combined well with the delicate cardigans ranging from reserved nude to intense red. Apropos red: In addition to the unique prints, color (wonderful, this turquoise!) is a central element of the uncomplicated, elegant good mood collections. And that’s not stingy. With the motto “fair fashion doesn’t always have to be basic, we want more color!” the two sometimes combine different shades of red in a single look – narrow trousers, fitted blouse and a knitted coat in different shades of red – yepp – fair fashion can be so much fun.
