A capsule? What’s this?
The term “capsule” comes from the Capsule Wardrobe movement, in which the wardrobe consists of a few pieces of clothing that can all be combined with one another. The Fairnica capsules consist of 5-8 items of clothing. The number varies depending on the season and the type of capsule. In combination with the required basic clothing (blue and black jeans, white and black shirt), these pieces can be combined into at least 30 outfits. Sounds good? Is fantastic!
Fairnica is the first capsule wardrobe to rent.
What is revolutionary about it? The Fairnica capsules are only rented out. At the end of the individual rental period of one, two or three months, you can return your capsule or extend the rental period. New Fairnica capsules appear in autumn and spring. The clever capsules are available, all of which have first names for women and men.
Ida, Carla, (Pauline!) & Co. – these capsules can be rented
For the implementation of her visionary concept, Nicola Henseler from Herne has teamed up with successful bloggers from the sustainable scene, among others. E.g. Bina Nöhr from StryleTZ and Kim Gerlach from Kim goes eko with their name and style behind the respective capsules. New since autumn 2020: business capsules that were created in cooperation with the sustainable GLS Bank and – tadaaa! – a GREENSTYLE x Fairnica capsule that bears the name “Pauline”.
GREENSTYLE x Fairnica capsule “Pauline”
Nicola presented her smart rental capsule concept as part of the 2nd edition of GREENSTYLE in Munich. The interest was great – as was our enthusiasm. Since then, we haven’t lost sight of the committed sustainability entrepreneur. From this acquaintance, the GREENSTYLE x Fairnica chapter “Pauline” emerged a year later. With five sustainable favorites such as the unisex shirt (AFORA world), striped shirt (LANIUS), camisole (Coco Malou), pants (ShipSheip) and a blazer from SKFK. The idea? Style bar from business to casual with an extra dose of French chic.
Launch of the GREENSTYLE x Fairnica capsule “Pauline”: October 28th, 2020.
Need some styling inspiration? They also deliver the “capsule godparents”.
Susanne Barta and Mirjam Smend have selected five pieces of clothing from sustainable brands and styled 30 fair fashion looks together with four existing basics (blue and black jeans or white and black shirt) and some accessories. All styling inspiration and the “Pauline” capsule can be rent here from October 28th, 2020 >>>
Good to know: the garments are made from ecological materials. Nicola knows the designers and the origins of all the clothes that she offers for rent. The washability of the garments is particularly important when choosing. Because of course they will be washed at the end of the rental period before they make a new temporary owner happy.
