I can’t remember exactly when the first prepeek took place. But it was definitely one of the Neonyt editions that took place at Berlin’s Postbahnhof am Ostbahnhof. Back then, Prepeek was small and kind of hidden in a back room. This is where I met Thekla Wilkening, who not only co-founded the Kleiderei, but also the networking and styling community event Prepeek, which brings creators (then bloggers) together with other creators and brands and reached consumers with content. And inspired. Here I have Kim Gerlach, Cherie Birkner (who then founded @sustainablefashionmatterz), Anna Kessel @annafloreskessel and @schwesther_herz , who were the Kunstkinder at the time and became @diekonsumentin. So many exciting encounters. Such a great time.
The Prepeek has changed again and again over the years
Prepeek has grown, but has remained true to the original idea and has been taking place as a three-day networking event as part of Neonyt Düsseldorf since January 2023. With established brands and upcoming brands to be discovered and styled. With Talks. And of course again with really good vibes.
We were on site in Areal Böhler in January. And this time I shot with Sandra from @syringalotus. Sandra chose the looks. You can see the result here:
