***Learnings aus Lenzing // Nature. Future. Us.*** ***Learnings aus Lenzing // Nature. Future. Us.*** Im August hatte ich die Gelegenheit die Lenzing-Zentrale in Oberösterreich besuchen. Mehrere Stunden Deep Dive und zahlreiche Aha-Momente später kann ich sagen: Hier - in der Nähe des beschaulichen Attersee - entsteht wirklich etwas mit Potenzial, den Kreislauf zu schließen. Meine Learnings aus meinem Besuch bei Lenzing? Sehr viele. 🍃Das Holz für die kompostierbaren (vom TÜV Austria zertifiziert) TENCEL™-Fasern wird aus nachhaltig bewirtschafteten Wäldern bezogen. 🍃Produziert wird mit ressourceneffizienten Verfahren. 🍃Lyocell wird ohne chemisches Lösungsmittel hergestellt 🍃Anstelle von Chlor wird mit Sauerstoff gebleicht. 🍃Lenzing setzt auf Rückwärtsintegration, d.h., Reststoffe/Überschussproduktion werden reintegriert statt entsorgt. 🍃Die Fasern sind mit dem EU Ecolabel für herausragende Umweltleistung zertifiziert. 🍃Das Fasererkennungssystem von Lenzing macht die Rückverfolgbarkeit von TENCEL™-Fasern in allen Phasen der Textilproduktion möglich. So können Anwender*innen und schließlich auch Konsument*innen sicher sein, dass sie TENCEL™-Fasern von Lenzing und damit eine biologisch abbaubare und kreislauffähige Faser verwenden bzw. tragen. 🍃Um die Kreislaufwirtschaft noch weiter zu fördern, experimentiert Lenzing mit der Verwendung von Abfallstoffen wie Orangenschalen für die Produktion von TENCEL™ Lyocellfasern in limitierter Auflage Lenzing arbeitet mit den Regierungen textilproduzierender Länder, um die Infrastruktur zu verbessern Den ganzen Artikel gibt’s auf greenstyle-muc.com Hierbei handelt es sich übrigens um einen unbezahlten redaktionellen Artikel der aus voller Überzeugung geschrieben wurde, weil ich wirklich glaube, dass sich so etwas ändern kann. ***Mental Health in Fashion x ASVOFF Filmfestival ***Mental Health in Fashion x ASVOFF Filmfestival // jetzt einreichen*** In einer Welt, in der glamouröse Fashion Weeks und gehypte Labels im Rampenlicht stehen, ist ein Perspektivwechsel, ein Blick hinter die Kulissen des Modesystems, längst überfällig. Das hat sich Florian Müller als Gründer der @mentalhealthinfashion Kampagne vorgenommen. Und hat dieses wichtige Thema als neue Filmkategorie beim A Shaded View on Fashion Film Festival (ASVOFF) etabliert. Einreichungen sind bis zum 30. September 2024 möglich. ASVOFF @asvoff_official führt die neue Kategorie „Mental Health in Fashion“ ein, um das Bewusstsein für psychische Probleme in der Modeindustrie zu schärfen und sie zu entstigmatisieren.
