Amaran Creative founder Sinah Schlemmer not only wants to change the fashion industry with her upcycling brand @amarancreative. She also wants to save the Westerwald behind her front door. In order to draw attention to the dead and deforested forest areas, Sinah is collecting money by selling her unique upcycling items until March 22, 2022 and is contributing to reforestation together with @plantmytree.de.
The “Tie Collection” (picture) is her latest project. Sinah makes unique dresses and bags from donated ties. Creating something new from leftovers that (supposedly) no longer make sense spurs her on again and again.
We supported the “Tie Collection” shooting at @loft506 in Munich, which took place as part of a 30-minute SWR documentary, with the GREENSTYLE agency. With fair models, fair accessories and Iris Martin, who makes all fashion shows and photo shoots at GREENSTYLE a highlight with fairly produced make-up products from Madara and hair essentials from Kevin Murphy.
