The qualified fashion designer (Esmod) has gone through many stations in conventional fashion – as a designer, fashion editor, stylist. She has worked with photographers such as Peter Lindberg and Karl Lagerfeld. As Creative Director and Co-Founder, she was responsible for the Stylebop.com shopping platform. She contributed her expertise in various areas of activity for magazines such as Lucky (Condé Nast Verlag), Instyle and Harper’s Bazaar.

She is co-founder of the Fashion Council Germany (2015), which, as an advocacy group for German fashion, has set itself the task of promoting German fashion design as a cultural and economic asset through the targeted promotion of young designers from Germany. In this context, the two-year fellowship program German Sustain Concept, which promotes sustainable fashion design from Germany, also runs.

As Freelance Fashion Director, Claudia Hofmann curated 40 sustainable brands from all over the world in an editorial show for the NEONYT fashion show for the first time in January 2017. The sustainable fashion show has not only gained access to the official show location of the Berlin Fashion Week, but also access to high fashion magazines such as VOGUE.
