GRND – the innovative recycling sneaker (until 10/31/22)
The media startup Flip has teamed up with the Munich sneaker label Monaco Ducks, founded an innovative recycling project and started crowdfunding. Sneakers that are no longer usable from Kenyan rubbish dumps (good to know: many of them come from Germany) are shredded and processed into new soles. And the result? The Marabu recycling sneaker, designed to help eliminate textile waste in Africa. We LOVE the idea of this Impact sneaker!
