During the two-day 202030 – The Berlin Fashion Summit Edition conference, thought leaders and key players from the fields of fashion and sustainability discuss innovative solutions to the pressing issues of the time.
With the 202030 Summit, we cover a wide range of topics – from circular economy and innovative materials to sustainable storytelling and the topic of cultural sustainability. The two-day programme brings together important voices from the value chain: from brands, from research and from media perspectives. International speakers include Lavinia Muth and Tanita Hecking, authors of the book “The Crisps”, fashion journalist Fatima Njoya, Roman Houlbreque from Retraced, Mikko Suikosaari from Ninyes, Niki de Schryver, founder of the platform for sustainable fashion and plastic-free lifestyles COSH! and Thomas Schneider, who will present his bio-based shoe and accessory material HyphaLite. Networking will also play an important role in the July 2024 edition: Following the program on the opening day, there will be a cocktail hour that will provide the 202030 community with an inspiring platform for exchange. On the afternoon of July 3, groups from the audience can discuss common key topics on an equal footing and contribute ideas for the sustainable transformation of the fashion industry as part of the Barcamp mini-workshop “unconference”.
