Fiori Zafeiropoulou can easily be described as one of THE experts in this field. Her commitment does not stop at research and observation, Fiori is also the founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/soffa.gr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SOFFA<\/a>, a social fashion factory in Athens.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3mITu5NMnVE?rel=0\" width=\"800\" height=\"603\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><span style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">&#8220;The second biggest industry with labour trafficking is fashion.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\">72 percent are women and girls.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\">One out of four is a child.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008000;\">Average age of children in slavery is 12 years old.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Together with her team, she works with <strong>victims of human trafficking<\/strong>, among others, training them and preparing them for an <strong>independent future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">&#8220;Corona has two sides: The virus has led to the slow down of consumption. But the brands stopped the production without paying the factories. So the workers are not paid.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The<strong> scientist and activist<\/strong> is globally networked and at the same time locally active.
