During the two-day 202030 \u2013 The Berlin Fashion Summit Edition conference, thought leaders and key players from the fields of fashion and sustainability discuss innovative solutions to the pressing issues of the time.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With the 202030 Summit, we cover a wide range of topics – from circular economy and innovative materials to sustainable storytelling and the topic of cultural sustainability.<\/span><\/span> Only if we change our consumption, work and life culture can we bring sustainability from theory into practice and thus into life.<\/span><\/span> Magdalena Schaffrin, studio MM04<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The two-day programme brings together important voices from the value chain: from brands, from research and from media perspectives.<\/span><\/span> International speakers include Lavinia Muth and Tanita Hecking, authors of the book \u201cThe Crisps\u201d, fashion journalist Fatima Njoya, Roman Houlbreque from Retraced, Mikko Suikosaari from Ninyes, Niki de Schryver, founder of the platform for sustainable fashion and plastic-free lifestyles COSH!<\/span><\/span> and Thomas Schneider, who will present his bio-based shoe and accessory material HyphaLite.<\/span><\/span> Bobby Kolade will talk about how the EU’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) policy can be implemented worldwide.<\/span><\/span> #StopWasteColonialism<\/span><\/span><\/span>

In addition to the stage program, the topics of waste colonialism, next-generation materials, decarbonization and rental systems can be explored in more depth in workshops.<\/span><\/span> Registration for the workshops is possible on the ticket platform or by direct inquiry.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
