What we did in 2023?<\/span><\/span> Much conceived.<\/span><\/span> A lot organized.<\/span><\/span> And talked a lot.<\/span><\/span> After all, communication is our passion.<\/span><\/span> Just like sustainable fashion.<\/span><\/span> The same applies in this case: #bettertogether.<\/span><\/span> We use our skills on all channels with events, trade fairs, magazines, PR work, partnerships, collaborations, etc. and support sustainable labels and inspiring projects to make the topic of sustainable fashion more visible.<\/span><\/span> And to get people as enthusiastic about these fantastic alternatives as we are.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

That was our 2023<\/span><\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/h2>

Trade fairs in Salzburg, Stuttgart, Munich.<\/span><\/span>
Events in the town hall<\/span><\/span> Collaboration\/partnership with the major B2B trade fairs Innatex and Neonyt D\u00fcsseldorf<\/span><\/span>

an unforgettable Fashion Revolution Day with the Munich community on Marienplatz directly in front of the town hall<\/span><\/span>
Mirjam has spoken, among others, at the Heimtextil in Frankfurt, at the Villa Merkel in Esslingen, at the Women\u2019s Hub
<\/span><\/span>became a mentor for the textile accelerator at Reutlingen University,<\/span><\/span>
was on the jury at #stoffimkopf’s Demo Day and awarded a GREENSTYLE prize<\/span><\/span>
we sat at the round table with Creative NL in the Munich Urban Colab<\/span><\/span>
and we celebrated GREENSTYLE’s fifth birthday.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The list goes on and on – after all, there are 365 days in a year.<\/span><\/span> In order not to go beyond the scope, we have picked out ten events.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Thanks to all the fantastic people who have been with us since the beginning, as well as to all the wonderful game changers we have had the pleasure of getting to know over the last five years.<\/span><\/span> Those who support us, who encourage us, who enrich our lives.<\/span><\/span> Without all of you none of this would be possible.<\/span><\/span> And apart from that, it’s at most half as nice.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>

Innatex \/\/ Communication and Talks (January\/July)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>

From January 20th to 22nd, 2024, we as GREENSTYLE will be part of the Community Area for the fourth time and will organize lounge talks and the specialist panel with the Hesse Trade Association for the largest trade and order fair for sustainable textiles.<\/span><\/span> Great for us every time: the participation of GREENSTYLE brands as Design Discoveries (including Helena Harfst<\/a>, C\/OVER<\/a> by Christine Overbeck, Christiane Strobel<\/a>, Anne Schollenberger and Wellicious<\/a>).<\/span><\/span> And of course the mood of the community and brands, which always culminates in the legendary INNATEX party.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Neonyt \/\/ Communication and talks (January\/July<\/span><\/span><\/span>)<\/h2>

As Neonyt fans from the very beginning, it was clear that we would support the relaunch of the community platform for fashion, sustainability and innovation.<\/span><\/span> Does not matter where.<\/span><\/span> As part of the community as well as as a GREENSTYLE Agency<\/a>.<\/span><\/span> With all the power of our network of over 150 brands, media and of course the community, we have been supporting the team around Ulrike K\u00e4hler<\/a>, Managing Director IGEDO Exhibitions and Neonyt licensee, since the first event on the Rhine.<\/span><\/span> Neonyt D\u00fcsseldorf will take place in the B\u00f6hler area from January 27th to 29th, 2024.<\/span><\/span> With perfectly curated brands, presentations by Mirjam on stage and, for the first time, the combination of FASHN ROOMS and Neonyt<\/a>.<\/span><\/span> See you there!<\/span><\/span><\/span>

PUREVIU goes Rathaus \/\/ Exhibition and lounge talks (February)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>

Together with Heike Littger and Yinin Got we developed the PUREVIU magazine in 2022.<\/span><\/span> The approach?<\/span><\/span> Timeless.<\/span><\/span> Because this is not primarily about fashion.<\/span><\/span> This is about the people who stand behind the labels, the projects, the companies.<\/span><\/span> And the inspiring stories and expert knowledge of our protagonists are as relevant as ever in 2023.<\/span><\/span> As part of the PUREVIU Lounge Talks in the town hall shop (temporary use of the city of Munich), we have on the podium next to PUREVIU protagonists (including Akjumii<\/a>, AA Gold) Katrin Habenschaden (then 2nd mayor of the LHM), Julia Post (then city councilor, now MP Im<\/span><\/span> state parliament), Dr.<\/span><\/span> Olaf Kranz (Head of the LHM’s Cultural and Creative Industries Competence Team) and Fatima Njoya (then GLAMOR) were welcomed.<\/span><\/span> Thanks to the Munich community, media representatives and everyone who made the evening unforgettable.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

FUTURE Fashion x GREENSTYLE @ Fairhandeln Stuttgart (April)<\/h2>

With almost 15 brands and four lounge talks, we were represented at the Fairhandeln trade fair at the Stuttgart exhibition center in April in cooperation with Future Fashion.<\/span><\/span> Future Fashion is the movement for sustainable fashion and conscious consumer behavior in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg.<\/span><\/span> It goes without saying that we immediately said \u201cyes\u201d when we were asked whether we could imagine working together.<\/span><\/span> Thanks to the Future Fashion \/ SEZ team for the trust, your support, your community vibes.<\/span><\/span> And the opportunity to present the Good Clothes Fair Pay campaign to Agriculture Minister Cem \u00d6zdemir, among others.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Fashion Revolution 2023 in Munich (April)<\/h2>

Speaking of the Good Clothes Fair Pay campaign: As a Fashion Revolution Ambassador, I communicated this on all channels throughout the year.<\/span><\/span> But the highlight was certainly the event that we organized together with Anna Karsch and Michi Wunderl-Strojny (Akjumii<\/a>) and Christine Overbeck (C\/OVER<\/a>) on Marienplatz to collect more signatures to ensure living wages along the entire textile supply chain<\/span><\/span> to promote.<\/span><\/span> Thanks to the (then) 2nd mayor Katrin Habenschaden for the support and the cultural department for providing the technology.<\/span><\/span> #bettertogether<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0

Opening KAURI Store Munich (May)<\/h2>

We know Daniel Tocca and the KAURI stores<\/a> from Bolzano.<\/span><\/span> Here we organized GREENSTYLE at Biolife at the Bolzano trade fair three times.<\/span><\/span> Thanks at this point to Susanne Barta, GREENSTYLE fan from the (almost) first hour and ambassador, for these contacts on the other side of the Alps.<\/span><\/span> And when it became clear that KAURI would open its first store outside of South Tyrol in Munich, it was also clear that GREENSTYLE would organize the grand opening and from now on support the Sustainable Concept Store at Sendlingerstrasse 35 as a PR agency.<\/span><\/span> With communication, network events, new concepts such as start-up support.<\/span><\/span> Stay tuned.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Communication \/\/ farfalla Opening (Oktober\/November)<\/h2>

With the farfalla pop-up store (don’t panic – farfalla will stay for at least two years) we were able to provide communication support for another opening event.<\/span><\/span> With articles, a portrait<\/a>, an invitation from the network to the press event… What can I say?<\/span><\/span> It was and is a great pleasure to be able to welcome the Swiss pioneer of aromatherapy here in Munich and to be able to use our community network to help as many people as possible know that the certified natural cosmetics are also available live and in fragrant colors in Munich<\/span><\/span> .<\/span><\/span> By the way: You have to (!) visit the store at Viktualienmarkt 7 and immerse yourself in the fragrant world of plants.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Even though we keep having to delete names from our brand directory because times simply seem to be even more difficult for sustainable brands, we are still pleased about the interest in our reference work.<\/span><\/span> Which, conversely, means: inspiring projects follow.<\/span><\/span> People who, despite the adverse circumstances, set out to give their vision of fashion a face.<\/span><\/span> To improve the (fashion) world with vegan materials, local production, upcycling concepts, innovative consumer models, etc.<\/span><\/span> Thank you for your commitment!<\/span><\/span><\/span>

GREENSTYLE kick-off event @ Munich Town Hall (November)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>

Anyone who knows us knows that we love the town hall.<\/span><\/span> Not just since we were able to use GREENSTYLE the store in one of the town hall shops in the city of Munich for a year.<\/span><\/span> And that’s why it quickly became clear where we would hold our kick-off event a week before GREENSTYLE @ Heim+Handwerk.<\/span><\/span> In the Bergson pop-up (also temporary use) in the former Sport M\u00fcnzinger, in \u2013 tadaaa \u2013 town hall.<\/span><\/span> To give our brands visibility to the community and media representatives before the actual event.<\/span><\/span> And of course to celebrate fashion.<\/span><\/span> We particularly enjoy doing that.<\/span><\/span> Thanks to everyone who spent this evening with us!<\/span><\/span><\/span>

GREENSTYLE x Heim+Handwerk (November\/Dezember)<\/h2>

2x planned. 2x canceled due to pandemic.<\/span><\/span> And finally done for the second time in November\/December 2023: the GREENSTYLE x Heim+Handwerk.<\/span><\/span> We spent five (well, only four due to the snow) days at the Munich exhibition center on 500 square meters with almost 30 brands and a great atmosphere.<\/span><\/span> With lounge talks in the GREENSTYLE area, with moderations in the FREUNDIN magazine area, with press tours (thanks to TZ Munich, among others, for the article and the XL visibility on all newspaper stands in the city!).<\/span><\/span> And of course with our 5th birthday event.<\/span><\/span> Thanks to everyone who made this possible and who celebrated with us.<\/span><\/span> #bestcommunityever<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>
