The awareness of sustainable fashion is growing – among brands as well as consumers, in politics and the media. Jana Braum\u00fcller, Vreni J\u00e4ckle and Nina Lorentzen have been addressing the challenges that arise from this for several years. First as bloggers, then as activists who gave their movement the title Fashion Chargers in 2017. Last year, the three launched their platform and together with guest authors from the sustainable community, they highlight the topics of fair fashion, feminism, equality…<\/p>\n

Her book was published in March of this year by Knesebeck Verlag in Munich: Fashion Changers – How we can improve the world with fair fashion. The book presents bloggers, brands, activists – in short game changers – who are committed to a better fashion industry and shows how fair fashion can change the world for the better. The thematic spectrum ranges from sustainable materials to instructions for a capsule wardrobe. Our tip: It’s worth it! And in autumn the first Fashion Changers Conference is now on the agenda. In Berlin. Location still unknown. But the fact is that on 15 October 2020, the sustainable community will set off for the capital. Too long the last meeting of the scene has been over, as the NEONYT had to be cancelled in July.<\/p>\n

What can we expect at the Fashion Changers Conference?<\/h2>\n

Topics such as communication, materials, diversity, finance and politics are explored in depth in panel discussions, lectures and workshops. Founders, fashion designers, media professionals, students, sustainability activists and political actors will provide insights into their work, knowledge and activism. Workshops and Master Classes take place in a Knowledge-Area – getting to know each other and exchanging ideas is the theme of the Networking-Area.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

That’s why the Fashion Changers offer the opportunity to educate themselves further in the field of sustainable fashion, to develop concrete recommendations for action and to expand the network – because change can only be achieved together.<\/p>\n
